ABOUT THE OCRAM SAFARIS FAMILY

We are a 1038ha game farm situated in the heart of the Vredefort Dome area in the Free State alongside the Vaal River. We are truly blessed with incredible fauna and flora in what can only be described as a heavenly bushveld like setting in the Free State. The atmosphere of the whole farm is very calm and tranquil, a place where you can switch off and recharge your batteries. Therefor our vision is bringing people into a setting where they can get nourishment for their souls in a time when everyone is run-down and burned-out due to the challenges and demands of our modern daily life. (Mark 8:36 "And how do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul in the process?" New Living Translation). We cater for the whole family. Our focus is on the people visiting us, making it as enjoyable as possible and creating opportunities where they can build family ties, strengthening friendships and enjoy fellowship. In order to obtain this vision, we have one outfiller (Marco), one PH (Ruben) and one guide (Morne) who wholeheartedly look after and care for our visitors. We can accommodate you in a log cabin and two tents, sleeping 14 people in total. In our catered camp we will accommodate you in 2 chalets sleeping 10 people in total. The accommodation is fully equipped and also includes linen and towels. We would love to share our hospitality and the beauty of this precious piece of land with you. There are currently 43 species to be bow hunted out of 14 well located hides. At Ocram our hunting season starts 1 May and ends 31 August every year for all self catered hunters and run all year round for fully catered hunters.
